Turbo

When Turbo arrived at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in the summer of 2015, his hooves were long and in urgent need of trimming. The DSC farrier started working on Turbo immediately and over time was able to make Turbo more comfortable. Unfortunately, any help came too late for Pedro.
Turbo adjusted to his life here with new donkeys friends and without his dad, and soon enough he was ready to become one of our Foster Donkeys. He and his friend, Bentley, spend many beautiful years together at the Foster Farm, but when the circumstances at the Farm changed, the two donkeys returned to the Sanctuary Farm.
