Our school tours are fun and educational and are enjoyed by students, teachers
and parent helpers alike.
The program is geared to students from Junior Kindergarten up to Grade 6.
When you bring your class to the Donkey Sanctuary we gear the tour to the
age of your students. All ages will have lots of time interacting with the
donkeys. We also have grade suitable on-line worksheets for your use.
Along with providing information about the unique nature of donkeys, our
Humane Education Program encourages in students and adults alike an understanding
of the need for compassion and respect for all people,
animals and the environment. When we act humanely, we recognize the interdependence
of all living things. |
