Education Day is Coming Up

On Wednesday, July 17th we will be celebrating our first Education Open Day of the year. It's just like any other Open Day, with some added fun.

We will be hosting Donkey Talks at 11 AM and 1 PM, teaching you about the history of the Sanctuary and the donkeys, mules, and hinnies who live here. Stick around after the first talk and catch our Lead Trainer Kayla Johnson host a live training display. You'll be able to ask questions and see how we manage the many different animals here on the farm. From there, head over to the Learning Centre and find out more information about donkeys around the world and the ecosystem right at our back door.

As always, feel free to ask lots of questions to staff and volunteers alike.

Our hours are from 10 AM to 3 PM and it's a suggested donation of $10/person at the gate. We rely on the generosity of our donors, so anything you give on an Open Day goes to caring for our animals and the operation of the Sanctuary.
