Cruze Donkey

Cruze is a small standard donkey, with a unique grey roan colouring.
Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Cruze lived with another donkey, a jennet named Tequila, on a farm in Western Ontario. There they were used as a breeding pair and they had several offspring. When they were no longer able to have offspring they were moved to a different farm, where they received very little care. Knowing that these donkeys were more deserving of better care, the DSC was contacted to see if we could help. Cruze and Tequila arrived at the DSC in the late fall of 2016.
Like all male donkeys that arrive at the DSC intact, Cruze was gelded as soon as his quarantine time was over.
Cruze is a fairly shy donkey and he is slowly settling into the routine at the DSC.
