Sabrina

Before coming to the DSC Sabrina lived with horses on a farm in southwestern Ontario.

When she arrived to the DSC Sabrina was an overweight donkey. We continue to care for her with an ongoing specialized weight management strategy to help her reach a healthy weight and over the past few years she has slowly but surely been losing weight.  Sabrina spends her time in the Special Care paddock where she doesn’t have access to grass that would contribute to her weight issue.

Sabrina is very curious about people and comes to the fence willingly. She is best in one-on-one interactions with a single person and does get a bit anxious or unsure if someone else comes into the mix.
