Max
Max is a beautiful dark brown standard donkey.
Before coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Max lived with 4 mules on a farm in Vermont, USA. He and his mule friends belonged to an older couple that gave the animals very good care, but with their advanced age they realized that they needed to down size their herd to ensure that all the animals would continue to have a loving home and good care. The DSC was contacted, and arrangement were made to pick up Max and his mule friend Star. They arrived in the late fall of 2017
Like all newcomers to the DSC, Max and Star will spend a considerable amount of time in quarantine and then will be integrated into their main groups.
