Patrick

Before coming to the DSC in the Fall of 2021, Patrick lived on a farm in Central Ontario. Patrick was a well-loved pet but to due to the decline in the owner’s health they were no longer able to take care of him any longer.

He came to the DSC as a jack, so soon after his arrival he was castrated. Due to being a jack for his whole life, he has shown aggressive behaviours towards other donkeys and thus requires specific care and management. Hopefully over time, Patrick will settle into life at the DSC and be able to be housed with the rest of our herd.
