Ellie

Not much is known about Ellie’s life before coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC). She lived with two other donkeys on a farm in Northeastern Ontario and when their owner passed away the DSC was contacted by a concerned neighbour in December of 2019. He inquired if the DSC could help and take the three donkeys in. Ellie, Finn and Sawyer arrived just before Christmas that year.

Ellie is slowly getting used to her new life here at the Sanctuary. She is very nervous and timid, but staff is confident that with lots of loving care she will be a very sweet little donkey.
