Meet Hector

Hector is a charming grey miniature donkey with a distinctive white forehead. We estimate that he was born in 2003.

Little is known about Hector’s early years, but for six years he enjoyed life on a farm in Southern Ontario alongside his donkey companion, Jose. When their owners decided to sell the farm, a new home was needed for the two friends, and The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada was contacted for help.

In the summer of 2015, Hector and Jose made the move to the DSC.
