Nova

Before coming the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Nova and her daughter Aurora lived on a farm north of Huntsville for over 10 years. As their caregivers started to age and experienced related health problems, they knew it was time to find another forever home for the two girls.

We worked together with Primrose Donkey Sanctuary to give Nova and Aurora a new lease on life, and they arrived at the DSC in the late fall of 2023.

Nova has adjusted well to her new surroundings and the routines at the Sanctuary Farm. She is very curious and loves to meet people and the other donkeys.
