Meet Pebbles

Before coming to the DSC Pebbles and her friend Opal lived on a farm in the Ottawa area. When the owners decided to downsize and sell the farm, they requested that the two donkeys come to the DSC.

In 2020 Pebbles and Opal were admitted to the DSC but were moved right away to a DSC Host Farm, where they remained for two years until the Host Farm no longer had enough space for the two little donkeys. Pebbles and Opal arrived at the DSC Sanctuary Farm in 2022.

At the DSC Sanctuary Farm Pebbles and Opal made some new friends in Rachel and Ellie. All 4 girls were moved to a host farm till 2024 when all 4 girls and the donkey they where on farm with was returned to DSC.

Pebbles adjusted well to life at the DSC and likes to interact with all the other mini donkey friends!
