Billie Bob

Billie Bob came to the Sanctuary Farm in late spring 2024, joining his friends Luna and Curly Sam after the trio lived together at one of our Host Farms. When circumstances changed, all three made the journey to the DSC together .  In July 2025, he headed out on a new adventure,  moving to another of our Host Farms, where he joined their personal donkey Eeyore, along with Gracie and Colin, who are deeply bonded companions. With the recent loss there of their longtime friend Hollie, we know Billie Bob’s kind presence will be a great source of comfort and companionship for this little herd.

We miss seeing his sweet face here on the sanctuary farm, but we’re so glad to know he’s bringing his calm and friendly spirit to his new donkey friends.

Billie Bob is a registered Miniature Mediterranean donkey.  Not many donkeys that come into the DSC’s care are registered as a known breed.
