Colby

Colby lived on a farm in the Kawartha area, where he was housed with cattle as well as 10 of his donkey friends. They had no appropriate shelter, nor received proper nutrition or care.

Colby arrived at the DSC as a young jack in 2021. DSC staff determined at that time that he had not partaken in any breeding activity due to his young age. Colby and his father Monterey were gelded once they’d settled into life at the DSC.

Colby spent some time babysitting his younger brother, Nitro before Colby moved to join our main gelding herd.

We enjoyed watching Colby continue to mature and make friends with some of our more playful geldings.

In November 2024, he graduated to a great DSC Host Farm along with his friend Zeb.
