Honey

In July 2024, Honey (and her friend Cora) graduated to one of our wonderful Host Farms, and it was love at first sight for everyone involved! The family welcomed them with open arms, eager to learn about their history and showering them with gifts, including some very stylish pink halters.

This amazing family has been running a well-established equestrian centre since the 80s, and the kids at their summer camp quickly chose Honey and Cora as their favourite animals on the farm. We’re thrilled to see the next generation taking such an interest in learning about donkeys!

The family is also a foster home for rescue swans, and Honey and Cora have enjoyed watching their new feathered friends swimming in the nearby pond that overlooks their paddock.

We couldn’t be happier for Honey as she starts this new chapter in her life in such a caring environment.
