Brie

Brie came to the DSC in the fall of 2021 from a farm in the Kawartha area, where she lived with cattle and 11 other donkeys under challenging conditions, lacking proper shelter, nutrition, and care. Brie, arrived with her own foal, Pepper by her side. When she first arrived, Brie was unsure about her new surroundings and the changes ahead.

Over time, with patience and gentle handling from our dedicated staff and volunteers,  Brie  blossomed. She adjusted to her new life at DSC, forming new friendships, though still often hanging out with her old pals, Ariel, Cayenne, and Chai.

In September 2024,  Brie and Chai embarked together on the next chapter of their lives at a great DSC Host Farm where they continue to thrive and enjoy the care they truly deserve.
