Ross

Ross is a white miniature donkey, who was born on May 19^th, 2014.

Before coming to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Ross and his two donkey friends, Rachel, and Phoebe, lived on a farm near Ottawa. All three donkeys were well loved and cared for by their previous owner. When it was discovered that one of Ross’ donkey friend had ongoing medical problems that made it too difficult for their owner to care for them, as they were also struggling with her own health issues, the heartbreaking decision was made to have the 3 friends come to the DSC.

The three donkeys arrived in the summer of 2023.

Ross is a very sweet and gentle donkey, who loves attention. He loves his friend Rachel very much and can always be found right by her side.
