Heather

Before coming to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Heather and her family, mom Maple and brother Pippin and another little friend, Forest, lived on a loving farm in Quebec. They were well loved pets.

When Forest, her little friend, developed medical needs and required specialized treatment,  the former owner requested that Heather and the three other minis would come to the DSC. They arrived in early March of 2025.

Heather has settled in nicely into her routine at the DSC, it’s nice to have friends around and not have to get used to so many new friends on your own.

She is a very sweet little donkey.
