Meet Heather

Before coming to the DSC, Heather and her family, mom Maple and brother Pippin, and another little friend, Forest, lived on a farm in Quebec where they were cherished pets.

When  Forest developed medical needs and required specialized treatment, their former owner requested that Heather and the three other minis come to the DSC. They arrived in early March of 2025.

Heather settled nicely into her routine at the DSC.  It’s nice to have friends you know around while getting to know so many new friends!

Heather is a very sweet little donkey.
