Arean

Arean lived on a farm in Eastern Canada alongside her companion, Peggy. Both donkeys were cherished as beloved pets by their former owner.

As time passed, the owner became increasingly concerned about the donkeys’ long-term health and well-being. Wanting to ensure they would receive the highest standard of care before any potential medical issues became critical, the owner made the decision to place them in a setting where their needs could be fully met.

Arean is completely blind in her left eye, likely the result of leptospirosis (a bacterial infection). This condition has not hindered her ability to live a contented life. She continues to thrive, adapting to her new environment with resilience.
