In early 2015, Carmen’s owner realized that she might no longer be able to take care of her four little donkeys—Carmen, Jesse, Blue and Jasmine—and she contacted the DSC as a possible new home for them.
We were happy to bring Carmen and her friends to the Sanctuary Farm in the summer of 2015.
Carmen is a curious donkey who loves all the attention she receives from staff member, volunteers and visitors alike.
