Carrie

Before coming to the DSC, Carrie and her mom Chloe lived on a farm in Western Ontario. When the farm was sold, the new owner decided to keep all the animals as well, but they soon realized that they did not have the time to give Carrie and Chloe the needed training, attention and care. The DSC was contacted to see if we could provide the hinny and donkey with a forever home.

Carrie is a very curious and sweet girl with a little bit of a sassy side. She has adjusted well to her new life at the Sanctuary. After being weaned from her mom she was integrated into one of our mule herds and is slowly finding her place in it.
