Forest

Before coming to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Forest lived on a farm in Quebec, he was originally purchased as a companion to Pippin when Pippin’s mom had her new foal. Forest was well taken care of and loved.

Forest suffers from Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and when the concerns and needs for treatments grew, the former owner decided that Forest would do better with more specialized care at the DSC. Along with his 3 friends, Maple, Heather and Pippin, Forest arrived in March of 2025.

Even though he is not related to Maple, Heather and Pippin, he certainly fits into their little family.
