Iris

Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Iris and six donkey friends lived on a farm in Southern Ontario. It was a very loving home. When the owner had to downsize their farm due to their own health, they contacted the DSC to inquire if we could take on the group of seven. They all arrived in the summer of 2024.

Iris was slow to integrate into one of our three mule groups but has finally found her place.

She is a very curious and outgoing mule. She has figured out fast the feeding schedule here and is not shy about letting staff know that she is hungry!
