Isabelle

Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Isabelle lived on a farm in Central Ontario, where she was the personal donkey of one of our Host Farms. In the summer of 2025, due to the Host Farm owner’s health challenges, our donkeys were returned to the Sanctuary Farm, and Isabelle came with them.

Isabelle is a gentle and curious donkey who enjoys spending time with her close-knit group of miniature donkey friends. They’re often seen moving together like a little herd within the larger herd.
