Maple

Before coming to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) in March 2025, Maple lived on a farm in Quebec. She had lived there since 2017. Maple lived there as a well love pet donkey, together with her children, Heather and Pippin, and another little Friend, named Forest. When Forest developed some medical issues and needed more specialized  care, the decision was made to rehome the four donkeys to the DSC, so Forest could get the best care possible.

Maple is very closely bonded with her daughter, Heather. They are settling in nicely into the daily routine here at the DSC.

Maple is a very sweet donkey.
