Meet Arlo

Before coming the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Arlo and his friend, Alfie, lived on a farm in the Muskoka area. He had resided at that farm since he was four months old and was well loved and well cared for. When the owner made the difficult decision to move out east and was unable to bring the donkeys along, they requested that Alfie and Arlo come to the DSC. Both geldings arrived in the spring of 2026.

Alfie has settled in nicely into the new surroundings and everything is easier to explore with his friend by his side.
