Meet Don

Before coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Don lived in the Ottawa area with his longtime companion, Yo-Yo, where they were well cared for and greatly loved for many years. Due to family health concerns and changing circumstances, the pair arrived at the sanctuary in early 2026.

Since arriving at the DSC, Don has shown himself to be a sweet, confident, and curious donkey who enjoys exploring his surroundings and meeting new people. He has settled in well alongside Yo-Yo and has quickly become a wonderful addition to the sanctuary community.
