Meet Gaspard

Gaspard came to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada from Quebec, where he had lived with his companion, Rico, since 2014. The pair were well cared for and loved by their previous owner, who made the thoughtful decision to relinquish them while she was still able to ensure they would have a safe and loving home for the future. They arrived in the fall of 20026

Gaspard is settling into life at the Sanctuary, and his friendly personality is already shining through. He knows his name and will even come over when called… most of the time! With his curiosity and affection for attention, we’re looking forward to getting to know this sweet little donkey even better.
