Meet Remy

Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Remy and her longtime companion, Ajay, spent many years living together on a private farm in the Kingston area. They were lovingly cared for by their owner and enjoyed a stable and familiar home for much of their lives. When the farm was scheduled to be sold, their owner made the difficult but thoughtful decision to ensure both donkeys would continue to receive the care and security they deserved by placing them with the DSC. Remy and Ajay arrived at the sanctuary in the spring of 2026.

Quietly curious and observant, Remy is already beginning to explore her new surroundings and settle into life at the DSC. Her calm presence and sweet personality make her a lovely addition to the Sanctuary Family.
