Meet Todd

Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Todd and his friend Tucker lived on a farm in Wellington County, a loving home. The owners had originally purchased the two donkeys at a local auction, so they arrived there without any formal training and required patient hands on work from the new owners. As time went on, the farm’s setup and Tucker’s specific behavioural needs made it clear that that the DSC would be a better environment for Todd and Tucker. And with their best interest at heart, the owners made the thoughtful decision to move them to the DSC to give the boys the best support. We were delighted to welcome Todd and Tucker in the late fall of 2025.
