Meet Tucker

Prior to coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Tucker lived alongside his companion, Todd, on a farm in Wellington County. They were well loved and cared for after being purchased at a local auction. Tucker and Todd arrived at their new home without formal training and required patient, hands-on work from their new owners. As time passed, it became evident that  their farm set-up and Tucker’s individual behavioural needs would be best supported in a more specialized setting. In the best interest of both donkeys’ well-being, their owners made the thoughtful decision to move Tucker and Todd to the DSC, where they could receive more support and expert care.
