Meet Vanna

Vanna was admitted to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) from Huron County. She had spent her entire life on the same farm. As her owner’s health began to change, it became clear that Vanna would need a new home where she could continue to receive the lifelong care and support she deserves, and so the DSC was contacted with a request for admission.

Since arriving at the DSC, Vanna has been taking her time settling into her new surroundings and getting to know her new home. After spending her entire life in the same familiar environment, this is a big change for her. With plenty of patience, reassurance, and time to adjust, we are hopeful that Vanna will gradually become more comfortable and begin to feel at home here at the Sanctuary.
