Meet Yo-Yo

Before coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC), Yo-Yo lived in the Ottawa area with her longtime companion, Don. They were well cared for and greatly loved by their owner for many years. Due to family health concerns and changing personal circumstances, a request was made for the pair to be admitted to the sanctuary in early 2026, ensuring they would continue to receive the care and attention they deserve.

Since arriving at the DSC, Yo-Yo has quickly shown inquisitive personality. Yo-Yo enjoys human attention and is always curious about what is happening around her. At the same time, she values her quiet moments and is perfectly content spending time on her own. Her gentle nature and balanced personality make her a wonderful addition to the DSC family.
