Opal

Before coming to the DSC Opal and her friend Pebbles lived on a farm in the Ottawa area. When the owners decided to downsize and sell the farm, they requested that the two donkeys come to the DSC.

In 2020 Opal and Pebbles were admitted to the DSC but were moved right away to a DSC Host Farm, where they remained for two years until the Host Farm no longer had enough space for the two little donkeys. Opal and Peebles arrived at the DSC Sanctuary Farm in 2022.

Opal might be a small donkey, but she is not afraid to share her big opinions!

In October 2024, Opal graduated to a DSC Host farm along with her pals Pebbles, Rachel and Ellie
