Mule

Reno’s father was a standard donkey and his mother was a quarter horse.

Reno had been passed from the farm where he was born to a teaching farm in Southern Ontario with the intention that he would be one of the students’ animals in the Veterinary Technician’s Program.

When Reno became too hard for the students to handle, one of the students suggested the DSC as a lifelong home.

Reno settled in very quickly with the mule herd. He may not be the largest mule in the paddock, but he has a big heart and loves to make new friends with visitors.

On a hot sunny day you will often find him lying on the ground having a snooze in the sun.
