Ted

Before coming to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Ted lived on a farm in Western Ontario. Unfortunately, he did not fit well with the other mules at that farm and he was showing some behavioural problems that made him hard to handle. The owner contacted the DSC with the hope that we could help Ted with a forever home as well as much-needed training. Mules can present unique handling challenges due to their hybrid vigour and require special methods to handle and train them.

Ted has adjusted slowly to his new life here at the DSC Sanctuary Farm. He tends to be a bit shy but is at times very curious. With consistent training and regular handling he will continue to come out of his shell.

He loves to play with Hummer over the fence.
