Watson

Watson and his brother Sherlock lived on a farm not too far from the Sanctuary.
When the owner no longer was interested in keeping the two donkeys as guard animals on his farm, as they were not doing “their” job, he contacted the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) to see if we could provide them with a home. Watson and Sherlock arrived at the DSC in the spring of 2017. Both donkeys were in need of medical attention; Watson was suffering from an eye infection that had been left untreated for some time. Like all new arrivals, the two brothers received an overall medical examination and all ailments were treated accordingly.

Watson is a shy but sweet donkey.
