Fall Seniors’ Day
We’re delighted to welcome our community for Fall Seniors Day at the DSC on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
This special day is set aside exclusively for seniors to enjoy a peaceful visit with our donkeys, mules, and hinnies. Adults of any age are welcome if accompanied by a senior. To keep this day quiet and relaxing for our older visitors, we kindly ask that children not attend on this day.
Come stroll the sanctuary grounds, meet the donkeys and mules, and learn about the stories of rescue and care that brought them here. Our most senior donkey, Da Vinci (age 39!), will be waiting to greet you along with his many long-eared friends.
Bring a picnic lunch, enjoy the crisp fall air, and spend time connecting with the animals in a calm and peaceful environment.
