Caring for donkeys involves a great many things - from feed and hay to vet care to farrier care to stall bedding, and - the list goes on. So when you choose to sponsor a donkey, whether for yourself, or as a gift for someone else, you're not just doing a very good thing, you are indeed helping to save a life, to make a life better. Your sponsorship will help with the cost of the animal's care for an entire year (don't worry, you can renew your sponsorship year after year), and helps with operation of the day-to-day running of the Sanctuary, too.
We request an amount of at least $50 per year for each donkey that is sponsored. In turn, you, or the recipient of your gift, will receive a sponsorship packet, which includes: details about the sponsored donkey, a sponsorship certificate, a photo, and a yearly report on the animal's well-being. And of course, you'll also get that good feeling that we all get when we know we're helping an animal, which is always the best feeling of all.
